The First 52 is available for hospices as Email Care Plan
When I was a Bereavement Counselor while working with hospices, I looked and looked for an Email Care Plan option for my families that had all sorts of barriers to getting to the office for support. I also thought it a wonderful idea to offer grief support for those that are not in need of counseling though would like to have some information and learn more about their grief.
Well, unfortunately, I never found it. So, I decided to do something about this... After I created a program called The First 52, your friend in grief, it was time to begin offering the program to hospices to help them extend their reach and have an email option that I was seeking. It was beyond a want... It was a need.
The First 52 for Hospice offers the same programming as the individual program, though it has some nice features for organizations.
Each hospice that offers the First 52 as an Email Care Plan has their OWN First 52 platform. This offers so many benefits. Your hospice continues to serve your bereaved families. You have the ability to monitor progress, interact with discussions, and send upcoming event emails to your bereaved folks. Your First 52 can be semi-customized to include your logo, introduce your staff, and even look at data for your reporting.
The First 52, your friend in grief, mirrors common discussions that arise at specific times throughout that first year of grief. The platform can be interacted with like an online group. Participants may share as much and as little as they would like. Activities and discussion are quality, useful tools that I use with my own clients. The First 52 offers bereaved families:
❤︎ Weekly emails for the first year of grief delivered directly to an in-box... Think of it as your weekly email hug.
❤︎ Links to useful websites, videos, worksheets, and activities to help learn about specific responses to grief.
❤︎ Bite-size, micro-lessons that fit into life... think lessons are around 3-10 minutes.
❤︎ An online community to share reflections and experiences that is private and off of social media platforms.
